Mr Bashford Snr clocked a stonking 4:19:11 today.
This is a pretty good time on any day but is even more impressive as it was A) Kevin’s first 100 in two years, and B) a 40 minute improvement on his previous time!
The first 50 miles of this course broadly runs between Southwater and Broadfield.
After that it’s out to Bolney and Henfield, then down the A24 before finishing with a lap round Dial Post, Shipley and Coolham.
I also managed a PB with 4:09:35 though this was only a 3 min improvement, so doesn’t really compare to Kevin’s efforts.
