The 2017 Downhill event was won by Paul Winkley for the 2nd year running, but only by about 5 metres from previous prolific winner, Richard Woodward. Mikey Weavers was 3rd;
Pete Bedingfield 4th; Luke deQuay, who completed the course on a BMX bike, 5th; Steve Dennis 6th and John Geal 7th.
